CBD Balm

What to Look for in CBD Balm?

Not all CBD balms are alike. Their efficacy depends on the quality of the CBD hemp oils used to make them. When shopping for a CBD balm, it’s important to make sure that the product has the proper ingredients in its formula – full spectrum CBD or hemp extract oil and hemp seed oil.

New Spectrum’s “full spectrum” CBD or hemp extract oil means that it contains not just CBD but all of the cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant in nature, many of which contain anti-inflammatory benefits. It also includes flavonoids (plant pigments) and terpenes, the essential oils of the hemp plant that are known to have therapeutic benefits.

We also use cold-pressed hemp seed oil in many of our topical products. Hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant. It is a carrier oil (like olive oil or sunflower seed oil) and does not contain active CBD. Hemp seed oil is high in antioxidants, amino acids, and omega fatty acids that are beneficial for skincare, and it has well-known moisturizing properties.

Our Topical Joint and Muscle Pain Relief Balm and Replenishing Lip Balm offer soothing relief for muscle soreness, aches and pain, as well as hydration and protection for lips with natural essential oils infused with organic hemp oil extract.

Hemp extract CBD balm is suitable for everyday use and for all types of skin. Applying it after a warm bath or shower, or after exertion, will help it sink in fast. New Spectrum products are also the only CBD products to include BioFulmate™ a bioactive polyelectrolyte, that improves bio-absorption in the human body

CBD hemp extract is a potent antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It also helps prevent damage to the skin (e.g., from the sun) and may shorten healing time. As a result of these properties, topical balms that contain CBD hemp extract are thought to provide a wide range of benefits:

  • Topical balms infused with CBD can ease psoriasis and eczema by reducing the inflammation, relieving dry skin, and soothing itching and pain.
  • Thanks to hemp seed oil, our topical balm contains fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 that can naturally nourish and moisturize any type of skin.
  • Research has shown that CBD can help clear up acne and skin breakouts by balancing oil production and reducing inflammation.

If you’re interested in adding CBD balm to your daily routine to keep your back from aching and your lips soft and happy, you can find it online at Good Stuff Dispensary. For answers to questions about our products, feel free to visit us online.
